picked out the suede for the cuff yesterday, nice fawn color , like the contrast it gives the turquoise trim I am doing. I glued the suede backing first to the aluminum cuff ,  then the clamping , making sure its in place for the next step.WAIT...... then the front is done in the same manner,WAIT..... Time for edging and more embellishing , we will see.. :),

Front of the Fighting Turquoise Cuff finished....

front finished on this cuff, unless I get a wild hair for more, never  know for sure! Took over 20 hours of beading so far, but who's counting ?, glad the turquoise is standing out , the finishing touches will bring it all together, a fawn colored suede is what I am leaning towards with the backing.  more coming !

bead embroidered cuff, bracelet, 'Winter Nights' artist Shonette Daniels

german crystal with white and silver seed beads , this piece is very elegant, would be great for a wedding, very romantic, has a sweet and angelic feel to it.

the start of another cuff, keeping to a color theme! well trying

okay this cuff actually started out to be in turquiose colors , so far its got turquiose in it , but I can't stay away from the colors!, conforming to following rules have never been a real big thing for me, even as a kid they said color inside the lines or stay in school yard or stay still, not me ...just had to be different..

My First Blog Ever...

I'm new at blogging , so beware if  I start to talk about other things than bead embroidery, I do like to garden, and go camping, and am a really big Cornhusker college football fan. I hope not to bore you to much with my new blog.  I started my etsy shop around the end of December, started facebook page, and am considering maybe doing artfire in the future.  I suppose I should tell you all I have a pet Cockatail for a pet, he's the co-captain in my household, he oversees most things while riding around on my shoulder . Don't have a pic of that right now so this will have to do.
