Cotton Candy Carnival and The Fighting Turquoise

'Cotton Candy Carnival' by Annette de Goeij

What a great piece of art jewelry :)  This beautiful cuff was made by Annette Goeij, a talented artist whom I am lucky enough to call a fellow member of the Etsy Bead Embroidery Guild :)  I adore how the pinks and whites just blend perfectly, creating an elegant , bold, and unique touch.     Why just this morning on facebook I saw another gorgeous piece she has embroidered.  All of her bead work is unique go check out her store on Etsy. Who knows you might just find the perfect piece for you or a loved one.

Well not being able to bead has some advantages. I have more time dedicated to help out the EBEG and more time to dream of future pieces. The new blog is up and running , its looking great,  I am really excited about the upcoming raffle for boro-boro beads... Hmmmm  doesn't that sound interesting !! You can't miss this great beads , great blog,  and great fun.!!

Last but not least I recently was featured on Beader's Showcase.  What a great way to give your day a boost, well mine I mean, lol. This is a nice site to take a look at, I didn't exactly find this on my own, I must thank Sharayah Sheldon, the captain of the EBEG team .

Doing Nothing is Hard!

Well today was a pretty easy going day . No beading, cooking, cleaning, laundry, or anything else that involved moving to much . Thankfully the computer doesn't fall in to those categories, I am not to sure I will make a full two weeks of being so lazy or without beading.  In my mind I am beading my best piece of art jewelry to date.  Oh to have such thoughts running through my head, dreaming about it, and what not.   I have decided to dedicate my time to surfing the web and helping out the Etsy Bead Embroidery Guild more .   I have fallen into a leader position which will monitor the EBEG Yahoo Group Site, and more if needed.  I will miss any members no longer with us and wish them well.  Such talented artists.

My Valentine's Day came a day early , nothing wrong with that!, I suppose my fiance thought I deserved it. SSSSHHHHH....  Don't tell him though...  Candy, stuffed animal, card, balloon, I think he did rather well :)

I hope to have more to share in tomorrow's post. Like a  treasury from a great bead embroidery artist.  As time passes by (slowly) I am wondering how long I am going to last without my beads!

It's been awhile since I have done any posting ,  last post I talked about some health issues I was dealing with. Well little did I know I was more ill than I thought. It took three hospitals to get me back on track and on my way to doing my beloved bead embroidery.  Above is a card my nieces and nephew made me while I was in the hospital. Of course I seen it and cried, I am very sentimental that way :)

Below is a picture of my friends cuff that should be done !!!  In a week I am hoping to be back to beading . At the moment I am just surfing the web, trying to get better without over doing it. The hospitals are really not wanting to see me back so soon!,  This is not a good picture by any means , I just wanted to say I am alive and happy to be able to say so.  More to come : just not now :) still tired and weak from having way to many seizures.  my doctor informed me I had over ninety in a 24 hour period ,  phew, I am glad that is over, seizure free now for four days!! Time things are looking up for me. Happy Beading!!!
